In 1988, SIDAPLAX became a subsidiary of Plastics Suppliers Inc., Columbus , Ohio . It is based in Gentbrugge, Belgium . To better service the market, Plastic Suppliers opened in 1990 their Northampton, U.K branch. Both are at the heart of the European industrial landscape.

SIDAPLAX is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of biaxially oriented plastic films, registered under such trademarks as “Polyflex®”, “Labelflex®” and “TMOPS®”. Our newest development is a compostable film called EarthFirst® PLA, which is a corn based plastic film produced in Columbus, Ohio by Plastic Suppliers, Inc. the parent company of Sidaplax. This material is produced from NatureWorks LLC resin called NatureWorks® PLA.

SIDAPLAX serves customers in more than 40 countries operating in a range of markets such as the food processing, packaging, health-care, communications & stationary, consumer goods and converting industries amongst many others.

The commercial and technical department within SIDAPLAX guarantees flexibility and alertness to market trends; it also ensures a direct and efficient customer contact where high quality and fast delivery are the cornerstones of our business.

Plastic Suppliers and Sidaplax are proud of the newest addition to the product line. EarthFirst PLA Film can be used in label face stock, shrink sleeve, wrap around shrink, floral & over wrap, window carton, packaging and envelope window film applications.
